Our Recreational Tumbling Programs
Tumble Bear
This class is a 1 hour class for children ages 3-5. The activities and exercises focus on strengthening loco motor movements, and improving balance, flexibility, and body control. Social concepts such as taking turns, sharing, following directions, listening, and working within the group are encouraged. Basic skills such as forward rolls, straddle rolls, handstands, bridges, and cartwheels will be introduced.
Beginner
In this 1 hour class children work on coordination, rolls (forwards & backwards), cartwheels, round offs, handstands, and backbends. Limber: In this class children work on coordination, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, backbends, back walkovers, and front limbers.
Flip Flop
In this 1 hour class children work on cartwheels, round offs, back handsprings, whips, and tucks.
Cheerleading Tumbling
In this 1 hour class students concentrate on the tumbling skills commonly used in cheer routines (i.e. cartwheels, round-offs, back handsprings, back tucks, etc.). This class is a great way to improve tumbling skills, prepare for cheerleading tryouts, or learn new tumbling skills to incorporate into cheer routines.
Beginner/Limber Combo Class
In this 1 ½ hour class children focus on tumbling skills for an hour and trampoline skill for 30 minutes.
Private Lessons
Available for any student already enrolled in a class and who would like extra work on specific skills that are needed to advance on to the next level. Private lessons will be arranged by the office.
